Jerusalem Holds A Protest Against Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine
--
A protest was held in Jerusalem today outside the entrance to the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) in solidarity with Ukraine (video below).
Local Ukrainians, Russians, Israelis, and expats, all joined in protest at the invasion, calling for:
- Israel to supply Ukraine with its Iron Dome missile defense system
- Israelis Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to “come down from the fence” and more unequivocally condemn the Russian action
- Israel to send military aid to the beleaguered country
A second protest in Jerusalem is planned for 18:00 today at Kikar Safra (Safra Square), the seat of the Jerusalem Municipality.
